This tasty smoothie comes from The Minimalist Baker, a great source plant-based recipes that require 10 ingredients or less.  I used brown rice protein, added cucumber and ground flax and then updated the nutrition breakdown!

Creamy Avocado Banana Green Smoothie

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredients
1 large frozen banana
1/4 to 1/2 medium ripe avocado
1 scoop (30 g) plain or vanilla protein powder
1 large handful of greens of your choice (spinach, kale, Swiss chard)
1/2 cup / 125 ml sliced cucumber
1 tbsp / 15 ml ground flax
1 cup / 250 ml unsweetened non-dairy milk

Directions

To a high-speed blender, add frozen banana, avocado, protein powder, greens, cucumber, seeds and non-dairy milk.

Blend on high until creamy and smooth, scraping down sides as needed. If the smoothie is too thick, add more non-dairy milk to thin. If too thin, add more banana or avocado.

Taste and adjust flavour as needed, adding more banana for sweetness, avocado for creaminess, or greens for vibrant green colour.

Divide between serving glasses and enjoy! Best when fresh, though leftovers will keep covered in the refrigerator up to 24 hours or in the freezer for two weeks.

Makes 2 servings.
