Ingredients

Quantity Ingredients
1 cup chopped whole pitted dates (about 16 dates)
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (about 3 lemons)
1/4 cup water
2 tbsps chopped fresh cilantro
1 tbsp chopped seeded jalapeño pepper
1 tsp salt

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor; process until thick and smooth.

Note: Chutney will keep in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

Yield:  1 cup (serving size: 1 tablespoon)
