Egg Studded Pizza

A quick and easy supper. Serve with a glass of tomato juice and a spinach salad followed by a fresh peach. To cut back on the fat, omit the bacon-style turkey and use lower-fat cheese. 

Egg Studded Pizza


Quantity Ingredients
nonstick cooking spray
1 (227g) prebaked thin pizza shell or flatbread
6 eggs
4 slices bacon-style turkey, chopped and cooked
1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup chopped red and/or green pepper
1 small onion, chopped


1. Spray a 12-inch (30 cm) pizza pan or baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Place pizza shell on pizza pan. 2. Using a 2-1/2 inch (7 cm) cookie cutter, cut out six circles from pizza shell, evenly spaced and about 1-inch (2.5 cm) from edge. Remove circles and save for another use. 3. Break one egg into each hole. Sprinkle pizza with bacon, cheese, peppers and onion. 4. Bake at 425F (220C) for 12 to 14 minutes or until eggs are set and cheese is melted.
