Fruit Crisp with Textured Vegetable Protein


Quantity Ingredients
3 cups apples, peeled and sliced
1/8 cup fructose
1/4 cup brown sugar -- packed
1/4 cup rolled oats
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup pecans -- chopped
1/2 cup textured vegetable protein
1 tbsp canola oil


Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray rectangular pan, 9x9x2 inches, with cooking spray. Mix apples with fructose. Spread evenly in pan, sprinkle with nutmeg. Mix ground oats, brown sugar, rolled oats, nuts, textured vegetable protein and cinnamon. Drizzle with canola oil. Sprinkle over fruit. Bake about 30 minutes until brown and bubbly.
