Garlic Ginger Tofu

Appetizers, Entrees, Side Dishes.
Tofu seasoned and simmered with garlic, fresh ginger, and a little lime juice - this pairs well with steamed rice and veggies to make an easy weeknight meal. 

Garlic Ginger Tofu


Quantity Ingredients
3 tbsp canola oil
2 tsp minced garlic
2 tsp minced fresh gingerroot
1 lime
1 tbsp tamari, or to taste
2 pounds firm tofu


1. Heat oil in a wok or skillet over medium heat. Stir in garlic and ginger, and cook for 1 minute. Add tofu to the pan with tamari, and stir to coat. Cover, and continue cooking for 20 to 30 minutes. 2. Squeeze lime juice over tofu before serving. Makes 8 servings.
