| 1/3 cup | balsamic vinegar |

| 1/4 | tsppepper |
| 2 | tbspchopped fresh chives or green onions |
| 1/3 cup | chopped fresh basil or parsley |
| 6 slices | French or Italian bread, about 3/4-inch thick |
| 4 cups | cherry tomatoes, halved |
Directions
1. In small bowl, whisk together garlic, vinegar, oil, pepper and salt. Stir in chives and basil. Reserve.2. Barbecue or toast bread. Cut each slice into 1 1/2-inch pieces.3. Toss bread with cherry tomatoes and dressing. Taste and adjust seasonings if necessary.
