Ingredients

| 1 lb. | lean ground beef |
| 1 | medium onion, chopped |
| 1 | clove garlic, minced |
| 1-19oz. | can tomato sauce |
| 1 cup | cooked lentils |
| 1 1/4 cups | whole small button mushrooms |
| 1/2 cup | water |
| 1 tbsp | chili powder |
| 1/2 tsp | black pepper |
| 1 tbsp | white vinegar |
Directions
1. In a heavy skillet, brown beef with onion and garlic. Drain off excess fat. 2. Add tomato sauce, lentils, mushrooms, water, chili powder and pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, covered for 1 hour. 3. Add vinegar and simmer another 15 minutes.
