|2 cups / 500 ml||kale, packed (fresh or frozen)|
|1 cup / 250 ml||frozen mango chunks|
|1 cup / 250 ml||frozen sliced peaches|
|1 tbsp / 15 ml||minced fresh ginger|
|1.5 to 2 cups / 375 to 500 ml||water|
|1 tbsp / 15 ml||maple syrup, optional|
Add the ice to the blender and crush. Then add kale, mango, peaches, ginger, lemon juice (start with 2 tablespons and adjust to taste after blending) and 1.5 cups of water.
Blend until smooth, only adding water a little at a time as needed, and scraping down the sides and mixing as needed.
Once well blended, taste and adjust ingredients as needed. If too tart, add more fruit or a little maple syrup. For zing, add extra ginger. For more acidity, add more lemon juice. To make it thicker/colder, add more ice. Blend as needed,
