Quick Pomegranate Flax Porridge

This stick-to-your ribs cereal also tends to stick to your bowl.  I recommend that you eat this as soon as it's prepared, and rinse your bowl when you're finished eating. Otherwise you'll need to muster up some elbow grease to get rid of all the dried bits of flaxseed!

Quick Pomegranate Flax Porridge


Quantity Ingredients
1/2 cup / 125 ml ground flaxseed
1/4 cup / 50 ml pure pomegranate juice
1/2 tsp / 2 ml honey
chopped fresh fruit or berries, as garnish


In a small bowl, combine flaxseed, pomegranate juice, and honey. Stir until the mixture thickens. Top with your choice of fresh, chopped fruit or berries.

Serves 2.
