300 mL | lukewarm water |
3 tbsp | soybean oil |
25 g | yeast |
1 tsp | salt |
500 g | flour |
Filling: | |
2 cans | sardines, any flavour, chopped |
4 | eggs |
1/2 | leek, chopped |
1/2 each | yellow, green and red peppers, chopped |
salt and pepper, to taste | |
2 tbsp | water |
Directions
Mix dough ingredients and let rest for 30 min. While dough is resting, prepare filling: Mix eggs, leek, pepper, spices and water. Fry egg mixture in a frying pan as you would scrambled eggs.
When dough has rested, preheat oven to 425F. Work the dough and roll it out to around 1 cm thick. Spread filling on dough and sprinkle with chopped sardines. Roll dough into log shape. Place on cookie sheet and shape into a circle. Bake for approximately 30 min.
