Southwest Turkey Burgers

Serve these flavourful turkey burgers on whole wheat buns with salsa, guacamole (or sliced avocado), lettuce and sliced red onion.

Southwest Turkey Burgers


Quantity Ingredients
1.5 lbs / 680 g lean ground turkey
1/2 cup / 125 ml finely crushed tortilla chips
1/4 cup / 50 ml chopped fresh cilantro
1 tbsp / 15 ml chili powder
1/2 tsp / 2 ml salt
1 tsp / 5 ml cumin
1/2 tsp / 2 ml ground black pepper


Oil grill on barbecue; heat on medium-high heat.

Combine turkey, crushed tortilla chips, cilantro, chili powder, salt, cumin and pepper in a large bowl. Mix together and form 6 patties.

Grill burgers until cooked through, about 5 minuts per side. Serve in whole wheat buns with spicy salsa, guacamole, lettuce and sliced red onion.
