| 500 g | tempeh, grated |
| 2 1/5 to 3 tbsp | oil (primarily vegetable oil with a small amount of sesame oil) |
| 1 tsp | sage |
| 1 tsp | thyme |
| 1 tsp | salt |
| 1/4 tsp | pepper |
| 1 tbsp | soy sauce |
| 2 tbsp | white flour |
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 400�F. Mix 2 Tbsp. oil with all other ingredients. Use balance of oil to brush onto unbaked tempeh patties. 2. Make 1 inch balls, place on oiled baking sheet and flatten balls (use spatula or fork) to 1/2 inch thickness. 3. Brush with remaining oil, then bake in preheated oven. Bake for 5 minutes (until brown on bottom side), flip over patties and bake another 5 minutes (or until bottom side is again brown). Makes 24 patties
