High Liner Foods goes trans fat free

High Liner Foods recently announced that all their products will go trans fat-free, with no added hydrogenated oils, by the end of 2005. The company also plans to lower saturated fat contents in their products. In fact, High Liner estimates that more than half of their products currently in Canadian stores are the reformulated versions. High Liner began their research and reformulation project in 2003.
