Health Check labels in Canadian grocery stores

The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada has introduced the "Health Check" program, an eye-catching red check symbol that can appear on products that meet established nutritional criteria. The logo is designed to help shoppers make heart smart food choices.

Foods that have gained the Heart and Stroke Foundationís stamp of approval include So Good soy beverage, Canadian Pork, Maple Lodge Farms ChickenBreast, Silver Hills 16 Grain Bread, Fit Fare Seafood, and Yoplait products. Watch for this logo on your next trip to the supermarket.
