Most people find "too thin" unattractive

If you're lamenting over not being supermodel thin, don't despair. A recent study, from the University of Florida Medical School in Gainesville revealed that people of all ages find bodies with a little extra padding most attractive. Investigators asked more than 1,300 adults and children to rate the attractiveness of various body sizes in drawings, and found that respondents preferred medium-sized bodies. Less than 10% considered either the very thin or very heavy bodies acceptable. Body acceptance increased with age, with high school students choosing a wider range of sizes than younger kids, and college students and middle-aged adults showing still more acceptance.
