The poor Saveur staff had to make their way through assorted chocolates from 50 American chocolate producers, most of which they found to be on par with the best of Switzerland or Belgium. Their favourites? Candinas, Chocolate Springs, John & Kira�s, MarieBelle, Norman Love Confections, Poco Dolce, Recchiuti, Sans Souci, Valerie Confections, and Woodhouse.
