Lemon Iced Green Tea

This refreshing iced tea has very little sugar, making it much healthier alternative to store-bought versions. For variety, use different types of green tea, including tea leaves blended with dried fruit or flowers.

Lemon Iced Green Tea


Quantity Ingredients
6 green tea bags
6 cups boiling water
1/4 cup lemon juice, freshly squeezed
2 tbsp honey
Amount fresh mint leaves, optional


Pour boiling water over tea bags in a large pitcher. Steep for 5 to 10 minutes, depending on desired strength.

Remove tea bags; stir in lemon juice and honey.

Let tea cool completely, then pour into 6 tall ice-filled glasses. Garnish with mint leaves and serve immediately.

Makes 6 cups (1.5 L).
