| 1/2 cup | granulated sugar |
| 1/2 cup | firmly packed brown sugar |
| 1/4 cup | soft margarine or butter, softened |
| 1/4 cup | vegetable shortening |
| 1/2 cup | nonfat plain yogurt |
| 1-1/2 tsp | vanilla extract |
| 1-3/4 cups | all-purpose flour |
| 1/2 tsp | baking soda |
| 1/2 tsp | salt |
| 1/2 cup | miniature semisweet chocolate chips |
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 375�F. In large bowl, beat sugar, brown sugar, margarine and shortening until light and fluffy. Add yogurt and vanilla; blend well. 2. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt; mix well. Stir in chocolate chips. 3. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375�F for 8 to 12 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets then remove and cool on racks. Nutritional Information Per cookie: 80 calories, 3g total fat, 12g carbohydrate.
