1/4 cup / 50 ml | freshly squeezed lemon juice |
2 tbsp / 25 ml | extra virgin olive oil |
1 tbsp / 15 ml | water |
1/4 tsp / 1 ml | coarse sea salt |
Directions
In a food processor or blender, combine chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, water and salt; pulse to a smooth consistency.
Makes 1.5 cups (375 ml).
Serves 6. Per 1/4 cup (50 ml) serving: 205 calories, 7 g protein, 13 g total fat (2 g saturated fat), 18 g carbohydrate, 4 g fibre, 0 mg cholesterol, 117 mg sodium
