Classic Cranberry Sauce


Quantity Ingredients
1 1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cup fresh orange juice (about 3 oranges)
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground ginger
dash ground cloves
1 (12 oz) pkg fresh cranberries
1 tbsp grated orange rind


Combine first 6 ingredients in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium; cook 12 minutes or until cranberries pop.

Remove from heat; stir in rind. Cool completely. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Yield:  3 cups (serving size: 2 tablespoons)
