Quantity Ingredients
1 cup Eden Arame, or Eden Hiziki
2 medium carrots, julienned
1 package any Eden Organic Udon, Eden Organic Soba, Organic Spelt Soba,
OR Organic Kamut Udon, 8 oz.
1/4 cup green onions, thinly sliced
1 teaspoon Eden Hot Pepper Sesame Oil
1 1/2 teaspoons Eden Toasted Sesame Oil
2 teaspoons Eden Ume Plum Vinegar, or to taste
1/4 cup organic roasted tahini (sesame butter)
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 Tablespoons water, or soup stock


1. Rinse and soak arame or hiziki in 1 cup cold water for 10 minutes. Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes. Drain. 2. Lightly steam carrots. Rinse with cold water to set color. 3. While the hiziki is cooking, cook pasta as package directs. Rinse and drain. 4. Mix pasta, arame or hiziki, carrots and green onions. 5. To prepare dressing, blend all ingredients in a blender or food processor, add to salad and mix well. Serve chilled or room temperature.
